Talk on Sea Turtles and the Threats Facing Them - By Daniel Godoy

To celebrate World Turtle Day we are hosting an exciting talk on the work that Kelly Tarlton's does to rescue and protect New Zealand's Turtles.

Wednesday 29 May, 6pm - 7pm

Tickets: $10 each. All funds raised will go the SEA LIFE Conservation Fund.

Massey University PhD student and previous Kelly Tarlton's SEA LIFE Aquarium staff member, Daniel Godoy, is a marine biologist with a keen interest in turtles. His research focuses on the conservation management of Green Sea Turtles in New Zealand. As part of his research, he collects sea turtle sighting and stranding data, where he works closely with the Department of Conservation.


He will share his experiences in an entertaining and educational talk as part of Turtle Fest.
