My Lil Miss 2+ absolutely loves a morning or afternoon visit to the Aquarium - and it is the perfect place to explore on a rainy or super hot sunny day too! She loves it so much that we purchased an annual pass (completely worth it as we travel in every couple of weeks as she begs to go!)
If you have young children this is a great place to visit. We went a couple of times and invested in the annual pass, it captivates the kids as the go through each area and with a kids play area half way through allows them a place to run off all of the excitement that has built up

All Annual Passes are now issued in digital format. You will receive an email upon completion of the transaction. Click on 'View Tickets', then download and save the barcode onto your mobile device. (eg. Apple wallet or similar)
Present the barcode at our Admissions Desk on each of your visits, our staff member will scan and match the photo on your profile.
Your SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Annual Pass will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Yes, each purchaser will be issued with their own Annual Pass with different barcodes. Please save the barcode for each member of your family on your mobile device. Our staff member will scan each member and match the photos on your profiles.
All current annual passes remain valid until their expiry date, you may renew your pass to either of our new passes, the SEA LIFE Annual Pass or the Merlin Annual Pass and take advantage of the discounted renewal price.
The renewal discount is available to you up to 8 weeks after expiry of your current pass.
To upgrade to the Merlin Annual Pass you will need to renew your pass as a Merlin Annual Pass, you can do this at any time up till 8 weeks after your current pass expires. If you do this prior to your expiry you will not lose any days on your current expiry and these will be added on to your new pass.
We no longer sell Gold or Platinum Merlin Annual Passes, instead your gift voucher is now valid to redeem a Merlin Annual Pass - this is a fully unrestricted pass allowing access to the same attractions as a Gold or Platinum pass previously allowed!
Our SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Annual Pass gives you access to SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's only. To visit another SEA LIFE across Australia or New Zealand, you'll need to purchase a ticket via the website or upgrade to a Merlin Annual Pass, which gives you access to all other Merlin attractions across Australia and New Zealand.
Pre-booking is essential to guarantee entry during school holidays and public holidays and we reserve the right to refuse entry if capacity is hit.
Outside of school holidays it is still recommended to pre-book a timeslot to avoid disappointment.

Terms & Conditions:
With the use of the pass, only the person named and photographed on the pass will get free access to SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's for 12 months and access to all the benefits mentioned above. These passes cannot be changed to another person or exchanged for cash. All passes must have valid information provided and if it changes, you are responsible to let SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's staff know upon the next visit. These pass can only be used for general admission tickets and exclude any school visits. Benefits and conditions are subject to change. Please check opening and closing times before the visit.
Your SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Annual Pass can be collected from the attraction. When you collect your pass, every pass holder must be present as we will take your photo for the pass. Every person who has an annual pass will have their own card. Please bring your booking confirmation with you upon collection. Any annual pass purchased via the SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's website MUST be claimed in person within 30 days. Your SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Annual Pass will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Valid for use at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's only. There are no concession prices for the SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Annual Pass.
Children are aged between 2 and 15 years old. Children under 2 years old receive free admission to the attraction, therefore do not require a pass and are not included in any of the passes. If you have a child who is under 2 years old, please advise staff upon entry. Children aged 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult (16 years old and above) to enter.
To be eligible for the renewal rate you will need to renew within 30 days of expiry. Renewal is the same price at the door as online.
Annual Pass Restrictions
We no longer sell Gold Merlin Annual Passes but any current Gold passes purchased before March 9 2026 are still valid and still subject to restrictions.
Gold Merlin Annual Passes are not valid on the dates below in accordance with local school holiday periods, in addition to any public holidays across Australia and New Zealand.
