Are you feeling the cold this winter? Stuck inside the house and unsure how to entertain the children? Why not have a go at some our penguin crafts for kids, based on our very own Gentoo Penguins here at Sea Life London Aquarium!
Create your own penguin!
All you need for this penguin craft is, some coloured paper (blue, black and yellow), scissors, glue and some cotton wool to make it extra fluffy!
This penguin looks very cuddly and here is a fun penguin fact for you - Gentoo Penguin chicks huddle together when they first start to leave their nests, forming crèches, in order to stay warm and dry in the harsh Antarctic weather. They are much more likely to cuddle up when it's cold and rainy – not dissimilar to us!
