Shark Dive Xtreme is back at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast’s only cage-less diving experience where you are guaranteed an underwater encounter with enormous sharks and rays is back from 10th December 2020!

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast’s Shark Dive Xtreme experience is relaunching after a three-year hiatus, so thrill seekers can come face-to-fin with eight different shark species including three huge grey nurse sharks, grey reef sharks and wobbegong sharks.

The two-hour adventure takes you behind the scenes for a safety briefing and dive training before you take the plunge and find yourself inside the aquarium’s iconic Ocean Tunnel!

Never been diving? No worries! You don’t need any previous diving experience to take part in Shark Dive Xtreme. The cage-free underwater experience is available to guests aged 14+, runs from Thursday – Sunday and costs $290 per person.

Shark Dive Xtreme is an exhilarating experience and one of only a few experiences worldwide where you’ll be guaranteed an underwater encounter with sharks. With no previous diving experience required, Shark Dive Xtreme will make a daring diver out of anyone* Come face to face with our sharks and massive stingrays, Port Jackson Sharks, Wobbegong Sharks and hundreds of other amazing sea creatures!

The 2 hour experience includes:

• Introduction to scuba diving, briefing and training session (approx. 90 minutes)
• 30 minute dive face-to-face with sharks, giant stingrays and more in our Ocean Tunnel
• All dive equipment & wetsuit
• 'I dived and survived' Shark Dive Xtreme certificate
• All day admission to explore SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast
