Dr Harry finds out what it’s like to become a seal trainer for the day, learns the tricks of training and even takes the plunge with our much loved friends.

Ever wanted to get up close and personal with our famous seals at UnderWater World?  Now you can!  Spend a full day with our animal care team and learn all about how the seals are looked after every day.  During this hands-on experience you will become part of the UnderWater World Marine Mammal Team and gain access to behind the scenes areas PLUS participate in our seal presentation. 

 

Your Day As a Keeper...

Your day will kick off with a tour of the Seal Island behind the scenes area, where you’ll receive a personalised welcome from the presenter of the Seal Show, followed by a Seal Encounter experience.  After lunch you will take part in the Seal presentation by helping to feed our seals, before journeying to Otter Empire to prepare the otters for their show. Then it will be time to take the plunge and join in the fun of our Seal Swim program.
