Teachers Go Free
- Saturday 26th October 2013
As part of celebrating World Teachers Day yesterday, NSW Teachers visit for FREE* this weekend! Plus - we are offering 20% off entry** for accompanying family and friends.
And we here at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium felt it would be good to remind us of some of the really cool facts about our amazing animals.
- Not only are clownfish not funny (we do think they're cute though), but they use anemones for protection against their predators as they are immune to their sting.
- The octopus can taste with its tentacles - imagine being able to taste with your feet!!
- Bluey our Maori Wrasse started out being a girl and as she grew bigger, not only did she turn into a boy (which is called protogynous hermaphroditism) but changed into the amazing blue/green colour that he is today.
