New ‘Wild at Home Tours’

Today, Merlin Entertainments launch their innovative, new ‘Wild at Home Tours’, a series of live and private virtual tours which bring two iconic Australian attractions, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, straight to you! 

From home-schooling to working from home and the daily walk around the park, it’s time to spice up the monotony of lockdown life and meet some of Merlin Entertainments’ furry and fin-tastic friends! 

From the comfort of your home, choose from meeting the best of Australia’s wildlife at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo or explore the majestic, underwater wonders at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.

With three tour options available, the Wild at Home Tours offer something for everyone. From hanging out with Koalas and reptiles to getting up close with sawfish and Pig the Dugong, each tour provides an interactive and informative virtual experience. 

Guided by your very own knowledgeable WILD LIFE Keepers or SEA LIFE Aquarists, the 45-minute virtual tours take you on a journey to meet animals of all shapes and sizes, learn from animal experts and ask all of your burning questions, such as ‘why are a wombat’s poo shaped like cubes?’

Each Wild at Home Tour is sold separately and allows for up to 100 of your friends, family, and colleagues to join each tour, which makes it the perfect experience for:

• Schools looking for interesting and educational ways to keep their students engaged in online learning

Where: Virtually visit SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium or WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo
When:  WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo Tours - Available Monday through Friday at 11:00 – 12:00 or 2:00 – 3:00pm and SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium Tours - Available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at 10:30 - 11:30 or 2:30 – 3:30pm

Cost: Each Wild at Home Tour costs $850 and is recommended for groups of 50 or fewer guests to allow everyone to get involved and ask the keeper questions. Max Limit 100 participants (options to book multiple tours for larger groups available).

 

Wild at Home Tours includes:

• Private Live Interactive Zoom Session
• 2 x WILD LIFE Keepers or 2 x SEA LIFE Aquarists to present during the tour
• 45min (approx.) Highlights tour of chosen the attraction, introducing guests to some of our incredible animal residents
• 15min (approx.) Q&A session at end of the tour
