Celebrate World Oceans Day at SEA LIFE

This June, SEA LIFE aquariums around the world are diving together to celebrate World Oceans Day.

It’s a moment to celebrate the incredible power of our oceans and the amazing creatures that call them home. Visit your local SEA LIFE to discover simple, impactful ways you can help protect our planet, from recycling waste to keep it out of our waterways, to supporting vital global and local conservation efforts.

Your visit also helps support SEA LIFE Trust and its global sanctuary work, including the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and the Beluga Whale and Puffin Sanctuary. Funds raised will also support our local conservation project, the StAR Project, helping protect endangered sharks and restore wild populations.

So, what are you waiting for? Make a splash for the oceans and dive in this June at SEA LIFE.

Meet Sydney Harbour’s Hardest-Working Bin

Get hands-on with Seabin and discover what’s really hiding in Sydney Harbour.

This World Oceans Day, discover how SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and Seabin™ are helping tackle marine pollution in Darling Harbour.

Visit the Seabin™ station to learn how these floating rubbish bins capture plastics, microplastics, fuel, oil and other contaminants from the water, filtering up to 1.3 million litres per day.

Take a closer look at litter found in Sydney Harbour and learn how innovation, conservation and everyday choices can help protect our oceans.
