Rally Against the Culling of Sharks

Make your voice heard and join in with the protests against the WA government's shark cull program on 1 February, 2014, at Manly Beach Corso. Join the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary teams and say no to the innocent culling of sharks.

Featuring guest speakers, music and more, surfers, scientists and conservationists will join members of the general public in gathering to denounce the WA government's new policy to catch and kill sharks.

Community outrage is mounting as the first innocent bystander, a 3m female tiger shark, was shot in the head four times and dumped at sea on Australia Day.

Over 80% of Australians do not support WA's approach and now is the time to show your support to stop killing sharks in the name of swimmer safety. There's no science and no evidence to show that this is the right solution.
