Tap turned on Shark Valley

After nine months of renovations, we've turned the tap on our 1.5 million litre Oceanarium, which is to become Shark Valley - one of 14 new themed zones of the new SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, launching just in time for these school holidays on 24 September!

This process of filling up the oceanarium takes days as the pontoon-styled Oceanarium requires a delicate balancing act of intermittent water releases. Once filled, the Oceanarium will become home to over 1700 magnificent marine animals!

Shark Valley spans an impressive 100 metres of ocean tunnel walkthrough and houses a giant whale skeleton amongst the tumble-down ruins of an ancient Lost City temple.

And if walking amongst huge sharks isn't frightening enough, then take on Shark Walk - a glass walkway partly submerged in water which will allow you to face your fears and walk over a variety of stunning sharks including Grey Nurse and Lemon Sharks!

Be the 'first to SEA' by pre-booking your tickets for SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium online now for a visit any time between 24 September and 31 December and save $10 on adult tickets and $5 on child tickets.

Remember, you can't get this deal at the ticket desk on arrival - it is ONLY available on this website for a short time, so pre-book your visit for any date between 24 September and the end of 2012 NOW to avoid disappointment!
