Ever wondered what it’s like to work at an aquarium like SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast? Now your kids have the chance to find out! Our Junior Marine Biologist for a Day school holiday program gives them a behind-the-scenes experience, guided by one of our marine experts.

This fun and educational program is run by experienced educators who are dedicated to ensuring your child has a safe, engaging, and memorable day.

What to Expect:

  1. Check-In: Drop your child off at the aquarium, where they’ll be greeted by one of our friendly Education Officers. They’ll receive a team shirt and name badge to kick-start their marine adventure!

  2. Exciting Activities such as feed some of our amazing marine animals

  3. Create animal enrichment items

  4. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the aquarium

  5. Take part in a guided tour through our fascinating exhibits

    2. Child Safety: All staff are trained in First Aid and hold current Blue Cards

    3. Weather: The entire attraction is fully undercover — no need for hats or sunscreen

  2. Bring a refillable drink bottle.

  3. A storage room is available for bags; however, please avoid bringing valuable items as the room is not locked or secured.

  1. Upon arrival, escort your child to the main entrance, where our team will meet you for sign-in.

  2. After completing the registration form, you may leave your child with us.

  3. Pick-up is at the café door, which will be shown to you during drop-off.

  1. We encourage independence — we find children get the most out of the program when left in the care of our experienced educators.

  2. Parents are welcome to purchase general admission and explore SEA LIFE at their own pace.

  3. You’re welcome to join your child during the seal presentation (included in the program).

  1. Morning Tea: Aqua Lunch Box, which includes Cheese & Crackers, Fruit Salad Cup, Freddo Frog and Fruit Box Popper or a bottle of water.
