Every1 Matters at Merlin

SEA LIFE Melbourne have joined the Southern Lights Hockey Club as sponsors for the season!
As part of Merlin Entertainment’s initiative project “Every1”, SEA LIFE Melbourne have partnered with the Southern Lights Ice Hockey Club to help fund the community-based club by covering the cost of uniforms, and supporting all new players from the LGBT+ community to hockey.
Southern Lights are Australia’s first LGBT+ ice hockey team based in Melbourne. The team welcomes all players regardless of their sexuality or gender in the hopes of building a strong LGBT+ community to promote diversity and inclusion for ice hockey.
This is an exciting new opportunity to express our efforts in promoting the inclusion for all irrespective of their gender or sexuality. Past SEA LIFE efforts have been seen through our commitments to the LGBT+, including the support of marriage equality in 2017.
