Visit SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast during the September school holidays to go on a Junior Penguin Keeper adventure!

All kids visiting the Mooloolaba aquarium will receive a worksheet to help them discover fascinating facts about the Little Blue Penguins and the wonderful team who care for them. At the end of their journey, children can hand in their completed worksheet to receive a Junior Penguin Keeper certificate!

The free Junior Penguin Keeper activities aim to encourage kids to learn more about these fascinating flightless birds, which are one of the most popular creatures at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast.

Little keepers looking to take their aquarium experience to the next level can also book a Penguin Encounter! The additional experience allows guests aged 5+ to step inside the penguins’ habitat to feed the cheeky little birds, go on a behind the scenes tour and discover how the dedicated team care for each of the penguins.

Families can end the Junior Penguin Keeper day out by purchasing a special Penguin Showbag from the SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast gift shop!

Guests can wander through an underwater world in the 80-metre-long Ocean Tunnel where sharks and rays swim overhead. Mesmerizing sea jellies, beautiful weedy sea dragons and thousands of tropical fish can be discovered throughout the aquarium whilst the playful seals at Seal Island are sure to bring joy to people of all ages during
the daily Seal Presentations.

During the Queensland school holidays, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast will be open seven days per week from 9am – 5pm (last entry 4pm). All visitors must pre-book their tickets online in advance, where they can save up to 20%.

Additional costs apply for the Penguin Encounter and Penguin Showbag.
