Rab and His Lucky Shell - Book Launch
Visitors to SEA LIFE Manchester on World Book Day (Thursday 3rd March) are in for an extra special treat as we welcome author Andrea Bowker for the launch of her book, Rab and His Lucky Shell.
Take a break from exploring the aquarium to sit and listen to Andrea read her book and take part in colouring activities in the beautiful setting of our Stingray Bay area, surrounded by ocean creatures!

Being different and kind is good!
Andrea wrote, illustrated and self-published the book, which is aimed at 3-7 year olds. The story touches on LGBTQ and disability issues and follows Rab and Clara, two crabs and their other ocean friends. It carries important messages such as being different and kind is good, along with friendship and acceptance messages.
Andrea will be in the centre to meet from 10.15am 'til 2.15pm on Thursday 3rd March with readings beginning at 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12pm, 1pm and 1.30pm.
This special book launch event is included as part of the standard admission to SEA LIFE, with prices from £19.75 per adult, £15.25 per child and under 3s visit free.
The book will be available to purchase for £6.99 and bookmarks for £3.00, with 30% of on the day sales donated to the SEA LIFE Trust Charity. Andrea will also personally sign any books purchased on the day!
