The story of The Cursed Depths

When a violent storm tore two sisters from the shore and dragged them beneath the waves, a search party was sent into the darkness. They never returned.

These waters have long been feared. Sailors speak of ships that vanished without a trace, swallowed by a darkness said to conceal monsters, sirens and restless spirits that have haunted the deep for centuries.

Now, the search begins again… and this time, you are part of it.

But be warned, the deeper you venture, the closer you come to what lurks beneath the waves.

Something is waiting below.

And it knows you are coming.

Dare to enter after dark?

• Your ticket entitles you entry to SEA LIFE Manchester, with entrance strictly on the date and time chosen.
• Late arrivals may be refused entry.
• We recommend Ascarium: The Cursed Depths for children aged 10 and above, however entry is at the discretion of parent/guardian.
• Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18+.
• Carer tickets must be booked in with a full paying ticket. Valid documentation must be shown to gain entry.
• This experience is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions or those who are pregnant, due to potential jump scares from live actors.
• Some areas of the centre may be closed during the event.
• Expect darkened pathways, live actors and jump scares.
• Scare actors will be present at the event.
